Who writes for us
Our articles are written by approved writers: our editorial team, and practitioners who have run campaigns, built websites or hired agencies themselves. Every writer has a public profile with their experience and credentials, linked from their byline. We never invent authors, photos or credentials.
Writers who work at listed agencies
Some contributors work at agencies listed in the directory. The author box under their articles and their profile say so. They write about their field, not about their own agency or its competitors, and no article decides an agency’s position: positions come from verified reviews, with Google Maps ratings only ordering agencies that have none yet. Agencies can’t pay for articles or mentions.
How articles are published and checked
Approved writers publish their own articles. An editor reads every new article within seven days and adds an “Edited by” credit once they have checked it. Where an article needs specialist knowledge, an expert in the field checks it for accuracy. We only say an article was reviewed when that happened, and we show the date.
Sources
We prefer primary sources: official documentation, original research, public data and the directory’s own data. Each article lists its sources at the end. When we quote the directory’s figures, such as typical rates, we say how many agencies or reviews they come from.
How we use AI
Writers may use AI tools for research, outlines and editing. A person writes and checks every article, and its credited authors answer for what it says. When AI drafted a substantial part of an article, the article says so. We never use AI to invent experiences, quotes, reviews or people.
Updates and corrections
We check every article at least once a year, and pricing articles every six months. An article shows “Updated” only when its facts, advice or numbers changed; fixing a typo doesn’t count. When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated correction to the change log at the end of the article. To report a mistake, use the contact page and choose “An error in an article”.
Independence
The directory earns money from agencies’ one-time listing fees and from partners who buy listing credits. That money never buys positions, reviews or coverage, and agencies don’t see articles before they’re published.
