We want everyone to be able to find, compare and contact agencies on this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, screen magnification or other assistive technology. This statement covers every page on agencyseekr.com, the agency dashboard and the forms on it.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, but some parts do not yet, as listed below.
What we do
- Pages are built with headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move around them, and a “Skip to content” link jumps past the menu.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined.
- Form fields have visible labels. When a form has an error, a summary at the top lists each problem and links to the field, and the field itself says what to fix.
- Text and buttons are designed for sufficient colour contrast, and nothing relies on colour alone: ratings show the number next to the stars.
- Pages adapt to small screens and can be zoomed to 200% without content being lost.
- Images we add have text alternatives, and images that are only decoration are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages declare their language, so screen readers pronounce them correctly.
Known limitations
- Content from agencies and reviewers. Listings and reviews are written by agencies and their clients. Logos, cover images and descriptions they upload may lack good text alternatives or clear language. We fix problems we find or are told about.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam. It usually runs without any action, but if it asks you to confirm you are human and you cannot complete it, email us and we will help you directly.
- Payments. Listings are paid through Stripe Checkout, a page run by Stripe. Its accessibility is Stripe’s responsibility; if you cannot complete a payment there, contact us and we will find another way.
- Links to other websites. Agency websites and other sites we link to are outside our control.
- Language. The site is available in English only.
How we test
We check pages with automated tools as we build them, for missing text alternatives, unnamed links and buttons, and layout problems at desktop and phone sizes. The site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility expert.
